Okay, it actually started with rats…snails came later. It took seeing rats painting masterpieces on little easels for us to realize that we were starved creatively. You know it’s bad when you almost quit your career to sell rat paintings. After more research than any one person (let alone two!) should do on the rat painting trade, we realized what we actually wanted: to start our own business. When we finally came to terms with the fact that rats were not in the cards for us (our husbands were less thrilled by this venture than we were), we pivoted to creating fun and silly content for snails. We’re talking creating elaborate dollhouse sets for our snail and a weirdly in-depth backstory for him. As we created content and used the skills we had learned from our years in the marketing industry it hit us like a ton of bricks – we needed to start our own digital marketing agency!

And thus, Midnight Disco Marketing was born! With a bit of matcha and a lot of hours, we created something that we are not only proud of, but excited to share with the world. As a once full time artist, Milly began her marketing journey learning everything she could about social media, SEO and web design. This lead her to a marketing agency where she worked with a variety of clients to help them meet their goals.
For the past six years, Gabby has been immersed in the exciting chaos of the marketing world, learning the ins and outs of everything she could until she became the Director of Paid Social Media at her prior marketing agency.
